My hospital just had me write down her feeds. Still checked in but wouldn’t wake us unless absolutely necessary 🙌🏻

No they always woke me up to feed the baby 😒 even if I already did and to give me medicine to go back to sleep which never made any sense to me

My nurse during my daughter's delivery asked if they could take her to rock her to sleep, so my husband & I could get some rest. I didn't sleep though

The nurses want you to rest I promise. But at the same time assessing for things such as hemorrhage is a priority. That one check in could save you!!

I was awake for at least 6 hours with my 4th and no one came in my room once. As a fellow nurse who knows how awkward it is rounding on sleeping

I actually had a L&D nurse turn off my pitocin so I could sleep for a few hours 🥰 loved that lady and another helped give me a great experience too
