Code requires circuits to be labeled in the US. As an inspector it’s an instant fail if your panel schedule isn’t correct and fully labeled.

kinda what happens when another trade trenches through a conduit. Buy a roll of wire, and some tape, make some splices, and finish your original job.

Same in the datacenter. I have seen big customers not labeling their cabling expecting engineers can smell where 5000km of fiber goes to 😂

if they all go to a common j box its so you know the sets. for instance browns are a pole, yellows are a pole. it just makes it easier.
