I think shower, but if you do a deep soak tub that functions as a shower, that would work also.

Tub to tub. I am single but I have never regretted having tub/shower. mine is a garden size tub but with no jets, so it's wider. Nice to have a bath 1

I say tub. you have 9 days. not having to spend a day resizing g the drains for a shower would be beneficial if tile is coming
