@join_jules: As the CEO of Spritz Season, the moment I saw @NYT Cooking share a Tinto de Verano recipe I knew I HAD to recreate it. This is a traditional Summer Red Wine “spritz” if you will from Spain. Traditionally just red wine, ice, and citrus soda. I recreated the recipe shared via @nytcooking and it did not disappoint. If you’re looking for something new and refreshing, this is it. Here’s how you’ll make it at home: Fill a glass with ice and add 2-3 oz of red wine, preferably a Spanish red wine. This is optional, courtesy of nytcooking, but you can add about 3/4 oz sweet vermouth. Top with citrus soda, I used a citrus sparkling water which was really refreshing but a citrus soda will give you more sweetness if you want that (you can also make your own) But there you go!
