Manufacturers are making rotors thinner. By the time you change pads and turn the rotors you are all ready too close to minimum spec.

You don’t need new rotors but you’re meant to resurface them so you don’t get brake pulsation from overheated rotors that warp.

Rotors Should be Cut or Replaced due to Lateral Runout(Causes Vibrations While Braking). I do pad slaps if asked but I always recommend rotors😁.

Rule of thumb is 2 sets of pads you do rotors, and then the next front pads after that do rear rotors and pads
