mission: get my life together 😅 So I’ve been in a funk for a while (my husband and I call it the dark place lol) but it’s time to start pulling myself out. I think I needed to be “stuck” in it for a while to truly feel ready to take steps to get better.  I’ve been feeling all the things from overwhelm, burnout, comparison, etc. All completely normal, but I’m ready to focus on controlling the controllables, and that’s my mindset and the way I show up for myself and my family every day.  Step 1: brain dump everything you want. What does your dream life look like? Who do you want to be? How does “she” show up in her life? What does she do every day?  This helped me get really clear on where I currently am and where I want to go. From here I saw clear steps that I could take to start becoming “her” or this better version of myself.  Step 2: commit! Commit to 1-2 actions you can start implementing into your life today. Small actions can build into great change, but starting small and staying consistent is so important for growth.  A little disclaimer: this is how I’m personally choosing to approach my life. This is not to say that you have to change or try to get “better” to be happy. But personally I’m always looking for the positive and I’m always trying to grow into the best version of myself, especially as a mom.
