slvtty brownies !! 🤎 these were SO good chocolate chip cookie dough ¾ cup browned butter (170g) ⅔ cup brown sugar (133g) ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g) 1 egg 1 tbsp heavy cream 1 tsp vanilla (5g) 2 cups all-purpose flour (240g) ½ tsp baking soda (3g) ¼ tsp salt (1.5g) dark chocolate or chocolate chips (measure with your heart) in a bowl whisk together browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until glossy. add the egg, heavy cream and vanilla and whisk until smooth. fold in the flour, baking soda, & salt until just combined. fold in your chocolate. set aside. brownie batter 1 cup granulated sugar (200g) ½ cup light brown sugar (100g) ½ cup melted butter, warm not hot (113g) ⅓ cup neutral oil (55g) 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla extract (4g) ¾ cup all-purpose flour (95g) ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g) ½ tsp instant espresso powder ½ tsp salt (3g) dark chocolate chips (measure with your heart) preheat oven to 325°f. in a bowl whisk together melted butter, oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for about a minute until glossy. add eggs, and vanilla and whisk another minute until pale and slightly thick. sift in flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt. fold until just combined, then fold in chopped chocolate chips and oreos. to assemble the brookies: line an 8×8 pan with parchment. spread about ¾ of the brownie batter evenly in the bottom of the pan. place whole oreos on top of the brownie layer. i used about 9 oreos. take pieces of the cookie dough and gently flatten them, then lay them across the oreos to create a cookie dough layer. spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough in little dollops. press a few extra crushed oreos on top for the final layer. bake at 325°f for about 45–60 minutes. the edges should be set and the center should look soft but not liquid. if the top needs more color near the end, let it finish at 350° until the top gets slightly crisp. ( if it starts browning too fast tent with foil ) let cool at least 30–45 minutes before slicing so the brownies can set. #oreo #chocolatechipcookies #brookies #Recipe #fudgybrownies
