@constellationinspiration: it’s been a minute since we made them… so let’s make mango pancakes! the first time i shared these mango pancakes i said they’re a dim sum classic and so many people said theyre not a dim sum item?! i know they’re more of a hk style dessert, but i grew up checking off these pancakes on the dim sum list too. they’re my mom’s favourite dessert so we ordered the pancakes whenever the restaurant served them. mango pancakes are very different than traditional american breakfast pancakes — instead they're little fluffy pillows of fresh mango and lightly sweetened whipped cream wrapped inside a thin eggy and golden crepe. the toughest part of the recipe is getting a completely perfect, bubble-free crepe but after 1 or 2 less-than-perfect crepes, we eventually get there. i like to serve these slightly chilled but you can also enjoy right away. #homecafe #mango #mangopancake #chinesedessert
