@lancasterilluminated: The mighty Allagash Waterway I had the privilege this past week to partake in a challenging yet rewarding trip via canoe through the many lakes of the Allagash Waterway in northern Maine, USA. Far from city lights and cell phone towers, I was able to take advantage of the astounding dark skies to produce this Timelapse of the Milky Way core. Disappointed by the orientation our campsite offered, I was forced to wade in waist high waters around the shoreline to achieve this placement of my tripod. I also did this during cloudy conditions with the hope that throughout the night the heavens would open wide.
