If you are a passport holder and you already pat the ttx online. you can use the ttx invoice and show those receipts to the receptionist. so then they will not charge you again. I advice. anywhere you go if the ttx is needed in a country. you need to keep the ttx invoice so that you can show the proof to the frontdesk.

It’s not only Malaysia. There are other countries in Asia similar situation. Some will try to fool u into believing ur booking exclude the tax.
