@drbeckyatgoodinside: Rethinking Confidence What is confidence ... is it feeling good about yourself? Feeling happy about who you are? Well, this is what we are often told, but I have a different spin. And what about those moments when your child appears shy, hesitant, quiet? We often think that our child isn’t confident at these times ... but I don’t think that’s true at all. And I think these moments give us the most bang for our buck to bolster a child’s confidence, though the way I suggest intervening might surprise you. Yes. It sounds somewhat counter-intuitive.
