If the idea is to prepare concrete for epoxy, it's important to use a course concrete grinder to create a rough surface.

Michigan Paint Works Epoxy :
A good portion of my work is getting paid extra to grind these up and coat it correctly after the first hot tire peels it all up. Pay the extra and have a floor that will last 20-30 years instead.
