I had shit credit finance a old bike through Harley and it gone up alot ... granted high interest but low payment.

yes always check your own banks. my credit is fine but harley was at 28% interest or 22% with a cosigner for a $14k note ..my bank gave me 4.3%

A lot of times the manufacturer has incentives through their finance company then can get you a much better rate.
