Shockingly, the owner's wife had left $60,000 in cash inside the car, which was proceeds from a construction-business sale. Utilizing the OnStar system, the police were able to track and locate the stolen vehicle. However, when the driver realized she was being pursued by the police, she attempted to evade them. Eventually, law enforcement managed to halt the vehicle. Despite repeated requests to open the door and exit the car, the driver failed to comply. As a result, officers had to remove her from the vehicle through the window. The driver appeared bewildered and expressed doubt that the victim would press charges against her.
