banana bread cinnamon roll cake ✨🍌 this was SO good  recipe: cake 3 medium bananas, mashed ¾ cup (170g) salted butter, browned ¾ cup (150g) brown sugar ⅓ cup (67g) granulated sugar 2 large eggs ⅓ cup (85g) plain Greek yogurt 1½ tbsp vanilla 2¼ cups (270g) all-purpose flour 1½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda ¾ tsp salt 2 tbsp cinnamon cinnamon swirl ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar 2 tbsp softened butter 1 tbsp flour 1½ tsp cinnamon pinch of salt cream cheese frosting 8 oz cream cheese, softened 4 tbsp browned butter, cooled 2 cups powdered sugar (adjust to taste) 1 tsp vanilla 1–2 tbsp heavy cream, as needed pinch of salt beat the browned butter and cream cheese until fluffy. add the powdered sugar, vanilla, heavy cream, and salt, then beat until smooth and fluffy. cinnamon swirl topping 3 tbsp browned butter 3 tbsp brown sugar 1–2 tbsp cinnamon ¼ cup heavy cream cook over medium-low heat until smooth and the brown sugar is dissolved. let cool until slightly thickened, then swirl into the cream cheese frosting. (this was my favorite part 🤎) instructions- preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 or 9x9-inch square pan with parchment paper. brown the butter and let it cool slightly. in a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, browned butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, Greek yogurt, and vanilla until smooth. fold in the dry ingredients until just combined. do not overmix. in a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, softened butter, flour, cinnamon, and salt for the cinnamon swirl. spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. dollop the cinnamon swirl over the batter, then gently spread the remaining batter on top. bake for 40–50 minutes, checking around 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. allow the cake to cool completely. spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake. spoon the cinnamon swirl topping over the frosting and gently swirl it with a toothpick or butter knife.  #bananabread #cinnamonroll #cake #Recipe #baking
