@ashtagtravel: When I found out I was coming to Jeju, I was most excited to meet the Haenyeo, female freedivers who live off the sea. Diving is a predominately female profession here, and a lot of the divers are older ladies who have been doing this for more than 50 years. I've heard stories about them diving to depths of 30 metres and holding their breath for 5 minutes. I was so impressed by how strong these women are and I wanted to meet them and learn more about their interesting lives.
