@electiveamputation: For my 2 year #amputation anniversary, I want to show that EVERYONE starts at the beginning. Its easy to see me 2 years post amputation runiing around living life, but i was so heartbroken and so terrified of my #electiveamputation that they had to literally knock me out waiting for surgery. This is not easy. No part of being an #electiveamputee is easy. The decision to amputate is excruciating. The amputation is painful and depressing. The learning phase is grueling. But there is life on the other side if you dont give up. Dont compare your story to anyone else. And DONT give up! If you are facing this awful decision, i have so many resources for you! 💕
