📍Udawalawe National Park, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Tag someone you want to experience this with! 🐘 Udawalawe national park is often titled the best national park in Sri Lanka, not only because it has such a large amount of elephants that sightings are pretty much guaranteed, but because it is much less crowded than more famous parks like Yala. As a result the experience is more ethical, with elephants not being crowded by lots of trucks, and more enjoyable as a visitor. Here’s some quick tips: ➡️ Morning safaris are more for crocodiles and birds, evenings are better for elephants. Try to do both so you can see it all! ➡️ The best time to visit is between December to March, the dry season for this region. ➡️ In terms of costs, park entry is about $25 for an adult and $50-60 for a full day jeep safari tour. I actually recommend doing two half day safaris, 6-9am and then 3-6pm.
