@carsonbrown_910: The YZ250 is ready to shred for the Washougal National this weekend. Huge thanks to everyone who helped get this bike together! I have to run number 64 since I scored AMA points for that number last year. For those asking why I picked the YZ, it’s because I like the aluminum frame, skinny body, spring forks, carburetor (better throttle response and more adjustable) and all around bike setup. When the YZ is modded it makes a really aggressive kind of power which fits my style too. The Austrian bikes are good too and I ride them a lot, but a Pro Circuit YZ is a thing of beauty. I also had people wondering why I don’t ride a 300, it’s because 2-strokes have to stay 250cc’s to race the 450 class. People ask why I don’t ride an older bike like a ‘96 CR250, it’s because there is a homologation rule and I believe the bike can’t be over 3 years old. Last year I got a top 15 in one of the motos on a 250 2-stroke in the 450 class, let’s try and do it again 🔥 Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
