@liveforyour.self: One of the most devastating parts about life is straining to get back the happiness we once had. It’s like sand slipping through your fingers. Time cannot rewind itself, time only moves ahead, and it does not care about your permission. It reminds you of a relentless warning that you will die someday. This vehement battle against time and change can be depressing and disturbing, because of how little control we have of it and how vulnerable it leaves us. It’s an adapt or die type of situation. As terrible as the tragedy in our lives may be because of time and change not caring for us, its also hopeful, and eventually can end up as peaceful. Tragedy doesn’t mean forever. Nothing is forever. Time and change are always evolving. We are always evolving, one way or another. When something disastrous happens, you can do everything you can to go back to your old life, or you can try to accept your new one.
