hot take : Subarus are not unreliable under normal condition (normal means NOT constantly hitting the rev limiter and driving like that one spongebob sticker) because under these conditions ANY engine would eat shit and die

My Hawkeye had 226k miles on the original motor with full bolt ons before I replaced it. And the motor still had plenty of life left
