@cookinginthemidwest: Fried wings are an easy dinner or appetizer! Recipe 3 lbs of chicken wings(seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic) 2 eggs 2 cups of buttermilk 3 cups of flour 2 tsp salt 2 tsp pepper 2 TBSP paprika 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp chili powder 2 tsp onion powder 1 TBSP garlic powder favorite wing sauce Instructions -Cut up your wings into drums and flats and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. -Add those to a bowl with the two eggs and buttermilk and mix that all together. -Place the wings into the fridge for a couple of hours before frying to marinade in the buttermilk. -Grab a big bowl and add in 3 cups of flour with the seasonings listed above. -Remove the chicken from the marinade and toss them in the seasoned flour shaking off any excess. -Heat your oil to 375 degrees in a fryer or in a pot on the stove -Cook the wings in batches for 7-8 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temp of at least 165 degrees. I like to fry my wings to a temp of 185 degrees. -Toss in your favorite wing sauce and serve. My family really likes a 50/50 mix of buffalo sauce and bbq sauce.
