there is also proof it was a glitch in the anime cause ash was trying to fight the psychic gym and couldnt win so he went in search of a ghost type

On a similar note, if you randomize gen 4 games, Rotom becomes a legendary if your static encounters are set to Normal:Normal and Legendary:Legendary.

The ghost glitch was inconsequential, the reason psychic dominated gen 1 was because its weaknesses (bug and ghost) had virtually no real moves…

actually rotom fan ability is useful in certain scenario where it faces a pokemon with mold breaker and uses ground moves. it will not be hit
