@charles_dowding: Hybrid F1 so I propagate by rooting side shoots to grow as plants through winter. The tomatoes of the cherry plum variety are particularly dense and tasty. That's why I bothered to keep them going by cleaning. It is quite a lot of work looking after this small plants through winter, between October and late April. I know you can't save hybrid seeds but is it just because the resulting fruit would likely be different? Or could it be 'poisonous' in any way?
