I normally just keep the type styles to the side of the artboard, then use eye dropper to change the type to the style I want😂

Text in illustrator is a pre-press operator’s nightmare! Just use indesign; illustrator is for illustrations and Photoshop is for photo’s!

this works on any program btw, also things like word & text edit. I thought it was cmd+shift+v though, but I might be wrong
