If you never know what you want to be, if you live what some might call the dynamic life but what I will call the artistic life, if each day you are unsure of who you are and what you know you will never become anything, and that is your reward.” -Oscar Wilde I know in the entrepreneur/business side of the internet it is preached all the time to have laser focus and never sway from a vision, and although I believe that is not bad by any means, It is not inherently demeaning to life to be focused and driven. Something I know I’ve even been caught up in is that I get so enamored by a dream or goal that other aspects of my life will suffer. I tend to lose connection with my heart and my gut. I believe that there is an intimate relationship to be had with the unknown, with the excitement of not knowing what tomorrow may bring. It almost seems that we can become slaves to our own dreams, and I just think being governed like that doesn’t sound great.
