@lennardy: First time trying something Jamaican 🇯🇲 and it's their national dish- Ackee and saltfish. I was super hyped up for this one and couldn't resist trying Jamaican patois as well which always sounds so cool to me when I hear it in movies 🤣 Recipe for fried dumplings: 1 cup plain flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 cup water 1 tbsp oil - knead everything together, roll into tiny balls and fry at 160C till cooked through Ackee and saltfish recipe: 400g salted cod, soaked overnight, boiled in water for 45 mins 1 can Ackee, drained 1 onion, diced 1 tomato, diced 1 red bell pepper, diced 3 stalks of spring onion, sliced 2 sprigs of thyme 1/2 scotch bonnet pepper(I used a red chilli) 2 tbsp cooking oil Salt and pepper to taste - Just stir fry everything together #ackeeandsaltfish #ackee #jamaica #jamaicanfood #stirfry
