@mrsashleyfrench: My whole house has orange peel texture and it has never stopped me from doing accent walls. I leave it be and find that a low sheen paint like eggshell helps the texture not be as noticeable. If you do have a rougher texture, like knockdown, you can try sanding it, putting a thin skim coat on the whole wall to smooth it out, or using a thin backer board on the wall before adding your trim accent . Either way, don’t let the texture stop you from adding beautiful accent walls to your home!! #accentwall #diyhome #interiordesign #wainscoting
