This happened to my father. After 40 years. They sold the company right after he retired. The company was in business 60 years. My dad is 83 now.

steel mills in Ohio did the same thing. GM cut retirees benefits after 2008.

Yup that’s why I have no loyalty to these companies. I keep my resume updated and on indeed. Always have other source of income besides your job.
