I use an RO system with a DI resin filter after it. Pure water. 0ppm. Keeps my coral happy. Lots of junk in city water.

Chlorine really doesn’t hurt plants it’s sodium/aluminum that cause issues. Chlorine will kill some bacteria overgrowth in root systems though
