@j.t.odonnell: Replying to @0294858191947 Why Communicating In The Workplace Feels HARDER Right Now š„ŗš”š¤¬ I have a hot take right now Iām why I think communication in the workplace is getting worse. The first is the fact that a lot of people are dealing with PTSI also known as post traumatic stress injury. I think this comes from the anxiety and depression and stress that people felt during Covid and the fact their bodies are now dealing with the catch-up of it. I also think that being removed from the office for extended periods of time has made it easier for us to not have to deal with people we didnāt enjoy dealing with and now the idea of having to go back and communicate with those people is making us more depressed. People just donāt want to engage anymore with people they donāt like. We see that all the time here on social media. But the thing that I worry most is the fact that your net work as we can help you get a job. And if we start to alienate ourselves too much and we donāt make those connections then when we really need the help, we could be in trouble. So I hope that things change because our network is our net worth, and the sooner we learned to find ways to at least get along with others and build relationships.
