put a flashlight against the screen while it's powered on. the backlight could have went out. if you see the picture the backlight is bad

if you shine a light on it and can see the picture with a flashlight, it's a back light issue

Capacitors are usually the issue. I have fixed many TVs and monitors by replacing them. Fixed a $3000 Mac book pro with a $1.30 cap.

one thing to try though, that can be hit or miss on lcd tvs, is the scotch tape method. don't know if it carries over to OLED, but worth a try.
