@thekitchenpickleball: Ryan “SherBear” Sherry is the Pickleball Everyman. He’s the guy that you see at the court where you think to yourself “C’mon, THIS guy?” and then proceeds to thoroughly whoop your butt. Little know fact: He was also the MVP of the SEC Tennis Championship while at University of Florida. Go Gators. 🐊 SherBear embodies community, which is my favorite part of pickleball. One of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, he created an indoor venue (The Underground) in hot-as-hell Florida, to bring people together safely to play this great sport. Every time I go to his venue, the place is filled with pickleball players. He asks nothing in return. Ryan Sherry has been instrumental to the sport in so many ways, from making vital connections to further the game, to bringing in celebrities and famous athletes, to being the true ambassador of ambassadors. Again, he continuously asks for absolutely nothing in return. I love SherBear and consider him a great friend. You should too, as he’s a friend to all. Ryan Sherry IS pickleball.
