@ridewithian: Day 184 of cycling across Africa - Tamatave to Sainte Marie We needed to wake up at 2:30 am in order to catch this bus. The ride itself was something of an experience with elephant sized potholes around every corner. Closer to a motocross track than a national highway. The boat speaks for itself by the dozens of empty buckets that staff distributed during departure. First impressions of the island are extremely positive. Seems to be a paradise with opportunities for equal parts exploration and holiday. It will be a nice place to round out of time in Madagascar. #biketouring #bikepacking #madagascar
