Tip from my mom when things are stuck to the pan .. first you put dawn dish soap and water like you are going to let it soak then put it on heat

It is definitely a British thing, although mine doesn’t spray, he puts them in to ‘soak’ in soapy water in the sink and magically forgets they need(1)

I think this is a matter of growing up with parents who wanted the dishes scrubbed and parents who put dishes w food on them still in the dishwasher😂
