@jahlalala: Fushimi Inari Shrine An important Shinto Shrine in Southern Kyoto famous for its thousands of vermillion torii gates ⛩️ leading into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari. This shrine is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice. Fushimi Inari Shrine has ancient origins, predating to 794. Hike to the summit takes 2-3 hours but there are rest areas with stores and vendo machines. Don’t forget to pay respect by making a small offering in the shrine’s main hall (honden).
