@omar.runs.napa: Many runners have a love/hate relationship with running in the summertime and depending on where you live, it can be even more difficult with the humidity. For new runners, it's not always obvious how to handle running in the summer heat. Here are some tips I learned: 💧Hydrate well before, during, and after a run. Add electrolytes! 💧Use lots of sunscreens, a hat, and shades. 💧Adjust your time expectations and set a slower goal time. 💧Run by effort, not by pace because the heat will affect your pace and heart rate. 💧Bring water on your runs even if it's a short run. 💧Wear light and breathable clothing. 💧Too hot?
