A question to ask yourself TODAY with no pride in your heart: Let us answer from the soul. It is important to note that we are not saved through our works. We are saved by Grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) however, #faith without works is dead (James 2:26) and if you think that you can go your entire Christian life behind closed doors, not sharing the gospel or keeping your “spirituality” hidden, that my friend, is not the teachings of the Lord. Share His word and be faithful: No, I’m not telling you to go shout from the rooftops about Jesus, but I will tell you that the closer that you get to Him you’ll end up wanting to actually do that.. We are not to be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the life that He lived for us so that we could have freedom in eternity. We are called to boldly declare the name of the Lord, go and make disciples and be “fishers of men”. (Matthew 28:19-20 & Matthew 4:19) It is simple as that. You don’t need to become a pastor or get a certificate of any sort to spread God‘s word.. And also within your personal relationship with God, are you earnestly seeking Him in all you do? Are you putting the Lord before your hopes and dreams? Or are you only going to God when you need something and neglecting Him and His insight every minute in between? I suppose the question in this video would have been followed with a very straight forward “yes or no” but there are certainly things we can do fix this if we had answered “no”. (And certainly we can continue and remain doing if answered yes) Put God first in everything you do. Come to the feet of Jesus and #repent for your sins and TURN AWAY FROM SIN. Eliminate anyone or anything that is hindering your walk with God. Get into your #bible and stop walking past it everyday to scroll your phone instead. Be kinder to people and give. Give without expecting (Luke 6:35-36) Be slow to anger, slow to speak and quick to listen (James 1:19-20) #PRAY! Go into the quiet place. PRAY ON YOUR KNEES!!!! (Mark 6:31-32) The list could continue into eternity (literally) and we will never be perfect so I’ll keep it simple: Live like Jesus. Impossible to do entirely but we are CALLED to at least try. Trust me, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BETTER!!!! Keep firmly in mind that God is gracious to us, you didnt run out of time yet and He loves you more than humanly possible. Don’t mistake “works” for your ticket to #heaven. Our God understands us. Hense why He sent Jesus. Hebrews 4:15-16 says: “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” #Jesussays: “Be holy for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:15-16) LOVE YOU ALL 🖤
