@grandpakimyadawson: I didn’t know Paul Reubens personally, I just had the honor of meeting him a couple times as a totally crazed admirer. A couple years ago I was overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, and illness and found myself in a dark hole that I couldn’t see a way out of. @Clyde Petersen knew it was time to call in the big guns and got me a Paul Reubens @Cameo This man made me an 8 minute long video that is the sweetest, silliest, most thoughtful and inspiring thing I have ever been given. I never posted it because it is just so precious to me and something I will always treasure. This is the last few minutes of that. Watching this video for the first time was a real turning point for me. All the shows I’m doing again, the adventures I’m going on, the music, the laughter, the FUN - it’s because he told me to. He wished this for me. I always try to spread messages of hope and perseverance but I get really dark and twisty. Not everyone gets to see just how hard it is for me to be a human, while telling you all to keep being humans. When he spoke to me I could tell he meant it. It was about 7 months after my aunt Pat died of cancer which is a loss I’m still reeling from. Clyde mentioned that loss in his message when ordering the video. It breaks my heart knowing now that when he made this video he himself had cancer. Maybe that’s why he took the time and was so heartfelt. He helped me so much my whole life by bringing joy and laughter to me and my family and friends. He is so important to Ange too and getting to introduce his show and all his specials to little Panda was a big milestone. Then this video helped me in such an unexpected way. A fan since the second I laid eyes on him and a grateful devoted fan forever. Sincere condolences to his loved ones. If this is how he treated a sad stranger I can only imagine how he was to his friends and family. What a massive loss. I never planned on posting this video but I think what he says to me at the end here might help some of you right now.
