@joyfulhomecooking: Ingredients •3 cups bread flour •1 1/4 tsp salt •1/2 cup warm water •1 tbsp cane sugar •1 tbsp active yeast •2 tbsp olive oil •1/2 cup warm almond milk •1 tsp purple sweet potato and charcoal powder for coloring the ears and the nose Method 1. Mix warm water and cane sugar with yeast to proof it. Let it rest for 5 mins or until it’s foamy. 2. Mix your dry ingredients in a separate bowl. 3. Gradually add the yeast mixture and remaining ingredients to the dry batter. 4. Knead for 5-8 mins. 5. Divide the dough into two balls. Take one ball and split it into two halves—one for the bear's nose and the other for its ears. 6. To color the dough, blend the smaller balls (ears) with purple sweet potato powder and the other half with charcoal powder, kneading each dough until the desired color is achieved. 7. Place the 3 doughy balls in separate bowls. Cover the bowls and set them aside to rise. 8. Uncover each doughy ball and punch them down. 9. Roll out each dough ball to flatten it. 10. Grease your bear-shaped bread pan with butter. 11.Place the mini cylindrical shaped dough into each section (i.e., the ears). 12.For the face, roll out the white dough into a rectangular shape. Fold and place the black dough in the middle, referring to the reel for a visual guide. 13. Close the baking pan. Let the dough rise again. 14. Preheat the oven to 180º C. 15. Pop the pan in the oven. 16. Bake for 30 mins. 17. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool. 20. Use chocolate pearls to create the bear’s eyes for a delightful finishing touch.
