@sheisapaigeturner: Many men in my comments will suggest the instead of a wife expecting them to handle some of the mental load when it comes to their kids that they believe their kids should be doing that. They believe it is the kids job to remember everything from the school calendar and spirit week and what to pack for vacation. What they really mean by this is that they will not do it and do not want to do it so their solution is to pass it on to their kids. Moms will not let that happen. We will not have our partners pass on their work to our kids unnecessarily. Yup. My husbands solution when I ask him for help is to make the kids do it. So I’ve done the same to him when he asks me for help. I send him a kid.
