A good psychiatrist isn’t just going to throw drugs at the problem. They are going to help you develop coping mechanisms and strategies to help overcome the problems you’re having. Some people NEED medication. Others don’t. He doesn’t believe in psychiatry because a psychiatric doctor would tell him he’s in a cult and try to help deprogram him.

Not everyone needs meds some people can work through their issues through therapy but millions of others who have permanent, chemical imbalances in their brain such as bipolar disorder, that would not be able to live without proper medication

There’s nothing like someone preaching to the world about things he knows nothing about… I’m sure there’s many cases where people didn’t necessarily need medication but there’s many more people who for their own health needed medication for a time.. maybe instead of telling everyone what they should and shouldn’t believe in he should look into the abuses of Scientology.. these are talked about by so many and if they are true even slightly then it causes concern for his method of research.. sometimes it’s good to remember the saying that one should know what they are talking about before one opens their mouth…
