These did not disappoint! I Got a lot of suggestions on my pumpkin blondies and definitely wanted to try to add chocolate. Thanks for all the feedback and great ideas! Here’s a new recipe for: Pumpkin Brownies Ingredients 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin purée
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
½ tsp kosher or sea salt
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 large egg yolk, room temperature
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips, melted
Extra chocolate chips for topping
Directions 1. Spread pumpkin purée in an oven-safe dish and bake at 300°F for 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave inside for another 40 minutes. You should have about ¾ cup concentrated pumpkin. Set aside to cool. 2. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in vanilla and salt, then remove from heat and cool slightly. 3. Whisk in eggs and egg yolk. Sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon (optional). Mix until just combined. 4. Divide batter evenly between two bowls. Mix the cooled pumpkin purée into one half and melted chocolate chips into the other. 5. Spread pumpkin batter into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Dollop chocolate batter on top and gently swirl with a knife or spoon. Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips. 6. Bake at 350°F for 15–18 minutes, or until edges are set and center is just baked through for a fudgy texture. Cool before slicing. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream #pumpkin #brownies #dessert #homemade #recipes
