@thesidingguy_: The @stilettotools 10oz titanium handle hammer was the only hammer I swung for over half my career. I bought my first one at my local store and no matter how much they got wrecked, they always replaced it under warranty. I have a few cause I always lent them to my workers so they could feel the difference compared to a steel hammer. Definitely money we’ll spent. With siding, I’ve always used a finish or trim hammer because it’s super light and I’m most of the time hammering less than 2” long nails so anything bigger isn’t needed. This video shows the evolution of their 10oz titanium hammer over the years. The big failure point is the magnetic nail starter not accommodating 1 1/2” nails 😢. The rest of the features are definite improvements. The replaceable grip is nice as you can personalize it a bit with different colour choices as well.
