@emmafituk_: my life is so extremely different to how I thought it would be right now. I feel like everywhere I look people are getting married, buying a house, having babies & ticking all the boxes in terms of how society says our life should pan out. So of course you’re going to feel behind if you feel like you’re the only person who hasn’t figured it out yet. But I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone and I am FEELING this hard right now!! I’m going to be super transparent here; I legitimately don’t have a home right now - I’m staying with friends/ family until I figure out what I’m doing. I wanna go back to Australia but I don’t feel like I’m mentally stable enough to go back out on my own away from my friends + family. Im heartbroken (and have been on and off for 2 years) trying to fix something that is breaking me down. I’ve recently hit a real rock bottom with my mental health. I’m suffering with some health issues which has affected my training and I feel like I’ve regressed with my fitness + my physique (although I know this is largely in my head because I’m just being self deprecating right now). I feel burnt out and overwhelmed all the time and it’s hard to keep showing up and doing your best when you keep getting knocked back down. I know this period of my life is making me stronger, teaching me how to deal with adversity and giving me life lessons- and I know one day I’ll be able to use my struggles to help other people when I’m out the other side.
