Start from the torso, and define the form and angle from there. By starting with a crunched torso, you are naturally required to counterbalance the pose, creating interest and contrast, making it more dynamic. Incredibly, the can build a pose from any viewpoint and any angle simply by how you define the contour of the spine, chest and hips.
