Yup. I do some welding in an engine plant and that’s what I use. Put small bottle and machine in manlift and get after it.

They even have a specific connector to hook your stinger up to tig with stick machines

Been doing it many years but it has to be a dc machine, don’t work with the older ac stick machines.

Won’t work on some Miller machines, we set up to do a small weld in middle of a factory. Dam machine sensed it working backwards and cut out.

I have run a tig welder for tears off my SA200 and my DC cracker box for any of you nonbelievers. you can even weld aluminum with DC and helium gas.
