@ninahoudeshelll: i shared this speach at chase’s celbration of life today. if you were not there i would love if you read just a few of these short memories and smile: i was honored to have had chase as my bestfriend for 7 going on 8 years now. during that time you all can imagine the kind of crazy stories and heart felt memories we had gotten into. like that time we faked an engagement, or drove around listening to 2000s throw backs where he knew every word to dear future husband by megan trainor bar for bar, when we saw smile at NCG and he screamed so loud the entire theater was looking at us, summer before freshman year we had a group of future pope prepians over and we decided to play hide-n-seek well chase hid under a bed where a mirror was and he broke it and cut his leg. we cannot play hide-n-seek at my house anymore. for prom he was was very admit that we got ready together, so when we went to change for our big reveal he walked out and had forgotten his pants. however that did not stop him and we took pictures with my mom, sister, aunt, and grandma with him in his suit and boxers. and of course on prom when we were going tiktok famous and we sat through the whole dinner refreshing our phones and freaking out about the amount of likes. in this time of grieving i think it is so important to lean on these moments. it’s the worst pain ever now that it’s over but i will forever be greatful that they happened. because to know chase was to love chase. unconditionally and forever.
