please also remember to ask for an interest rate review every 2 years on your bond. I did that and I got 0,5% drop on my interest rate🙏

I once heard some advicer say don't pay a deposit keep it then pay in after to reduce capital, so Is there a difference here or any advantage to that?

I don't advise on deposit if you can afford your monthly installments. rather take that 90 000 and put it as a repayment/ lower the capital debt.

I paid a 60 thousand deposit, took a bond worth 600 000, the bank approved 800 000. but when I asked for extra 50 000 they increased my installment

Now i have learned the different between Capital and Savings on Bonds put it on capital 2 reduce interests..i never cared 2 check how they allocat it

Baba I have a question… if I signed an agreement for a monthly installment of R9000 and I decide to pay it weekly to fight against interest, won’t the bank want to still debit their monthly instalment of R9000?
