But please be aware that over feeding them spinach and other foods containing high levels of calcium can cause urinary tract problems, which is a very serious issue. To serve, pair four leaves of spinach along with low calcium, high phosphorus foods such as tomatoes, red & green bell peppers, parsnips, carrots, and asparagus to balance out their diets.
